6x6 Pergola Brackets & Kits for 5.5 in. Posts

These 6x6 pergola brackets fit nominal 6x6 lumber, which actually measures about 5.5 x 5.5 inches. Three Jurrque builds come in 6x6: a 4-post kit, a 6-post double kit and an extension kit that adds a bay to the double kit.

Wall-mount, sloped-roof and A-type kits are made for 4x4 posts only. If you need one of those layouts, start with 4x4 pergola brackets instead.

• 4-Post Pergola Kit — A freestanding single-bay frame on four posts. Select "6x6 Wood Posts" on the product page.
• 6-Post Double Pergola Kit — Two connected bays on six posts. Includes 4 three-way corner brackets, 2 four-way center brackets, 6 post-base brackets, 256 screws and 30 expansion bolts.
• Pergola Extension Kit — Turns a 6-post double kit into an 8-post layout. Includes 2 four-way connectors, 2 post bases, 128 screws and 20 expansion bolts.

4x4 or 6x6: How to Decide

• Match the lumber you plan to buy. Each kit fits one post size only, and the two sizes are not interchangeable.
• Check the layout you want. 6x6 covers freestanding 4-post and 6-post frames plus the extension kit. Wall-mount, sloped and A-type builds need 4x4.
• Plan the whole frame in one size. An extension kit must match the post size of the 6-post kit it extends.
